So what am I doing here after getting an education degree from Miami University of Ohio? Though a native Clevelander, I’ve lived in Texas since 1980 and I’m one of those who LOVE the hot summers here. You’ll recognize me as the ONLY one at the business office wearing a sweater in July! I’ve done a variety of jobs while focusing foremost on being a mom, including substitute teaching for LISD. It proved helpful when I joined the front office staff in 2005 as a part time receptionist and within several weeks started a crash course in learning hygiene scheduling. It’s important to me to really know our patients and hopefully anticipate their scheduling needs. I’ve been known to call moms promptly after a winter storm to already reschedule a “holiday/bad weather day” appointment. Working the schedule like a constantly changing jigsaw puzzle, I try to keep things well timed for you and us. Outside the office, my husband Steve and I have a blended family of four grown children and a young granddaughter. We’re both active helping the Lewisville Lake Symphony and a bit of community theatre. I also love to explore other places and times via reading and photographing everything on our travels.
